Our Charcoal window tints in the aluminum range are mainly used for privacy issues, glare reduction, uv block and/or simply for modern looks. These types of window tints do not block out high levels of heat, although they still perform at around 33-40% of heat reduction, and 35-40% cut down of Infra red rays (IR) If these window tints are wanted to be used for heat blocking, they would more likely suit colder regions like example Melbourne where especially during cold winters, the need of heat from the sun is needed to warm up the rooms inside your home.
Our Action Mirror 12 in the Aluminum range are mainly used for privacy, glare, uv block, looks, and also for heat block. This tint blocks 80% heat and 87% (IR).
