The difference between ceramic window tinting films and other window tinting films available with the same or similar light transmittance is that the ceramic window tinting films have a higher heat block out and a higher infrared ray block out, meaning better heat blocking performance from direct sunlight and less light loss. Our Mirror window tinting film also has a high heat block and costs less and are commonly used to tint the glass windows in offices, homes and commercial buildings. This type 'reflect' most of the heat from direct sunlight. All window tinting films mentioned above are see through transparent films and also are best used for heat, glare, looks and privacy issues. All these window tinting films block out 99% of the harmfull UV rays!
Frosted films are commonly used for privacy and looks for home and office windows, like front entrance areas, bathroom windows, partition glass walls, skylights and even clear glass tables. This type of window film comes in opaque, and is not able to be seen through from any distance. (note, that if an object is sitting against the frosted tint on the glass, it will be visible. If the object is placed 5 cm away and it will no longer be clearly visible). There are other types of films for home and office windows that also block out completely. These are called block out vinyls. These come in many different colours. It's not possible to see through these types of window films at all. These come in a gloss finish. Clear safety window films are also available! These types make the glass much stronger and hold the pieces together in case of breakage in a storm or an accident. All window films come from International Window Tinting Film manufactures and are distributed in Australia. All window tinting films are covered with warranty between 7 and 10 years, plus our lifetime installation warranty.
